Our vision is to build a thriving, connected community where every senior, family, and individual has equitable access to the resources, relationships, and opportunities needed to live healthy, fulfilled, and purposeful lives.

We envision a future where mental, emotional, and physical health is strengthened across generations — seniors, caregivers, adults, and youth — through expanded access to high-quality programs and supportive services. Our goal is to significantly increase the well-being of underserved families by enhancing mental-wellness education, promoting emotional resilience, supporting physical activity, and addressing the root causes of stress and social isolation.
We aim to dramatically increase food security by tripling our capacity to distribute nutritious food and essential resources within the next two years. As NSC grows, we aspire to open multiple locations in underserved communities across Polk County and beyond, reaching low-income households, seniors, veterans, single parents, and youth both locally and nationally.

Through strategic expansion and community partnership, our programs, activities, services, and events will continue to multiply and deepen in impact — doubling their reach each year as we work toward a more connected and healthier future.
